Test - Spriting a tarantula

I was asked to make a walking icon of Geneva, Nemesis' pet, but I had a problem: I had never made a tarantula before. Hence, I had to look for some photographies to use as reference, besides the proxy's reference sheet. I made this to show how I made the first sprite:

-Lineart from scratch. To see the shape I'd give to the sprite.

-Fill with colors. It helped me to position the legs and check their length, thickness, etc. while editing.

-Fill with the correct colors. Now that I have the shape I want, I proceed to color, the easiest part.

-Shading on the legs and details, such as the eyes and the little fangs.

-Finished That's just to show how tall it is. I didn't erase the black lines, as they look good on this one.

Now... I'll watch a video to see with detail how tarantulas move their legs when they walk.
