Eight Stained Clues: Chapter 13 – The end was coming

As days passed, more and more people came to the mansion. They came to train under the watchful eye of Zalgo, who had divided the whole group into several teams and organized the sessions to have each team facing the others at least once, so that we fought against various types of enemies. The ones who lived in the mansion were distributed in four teams with a few people from other zones; Zalgo left Angelica, UBOA, Sally and Lazari out. He said he didn’t want to put them in danger, but most of us knew they were nothing but burdens for him and he needed a way to get rid of them.

The first team was formed by Jeff, BEN, Jack and Smile Dog: Jeff and Jack were the ones who would face the opponents directly while BEN would mess with the enemies’ heads, same as Smile Dog, although this last one would be able to defend itself properly if the situation required it. Besides, Jack and BEN were more intelligent than Jeff and, the most important thing, the members got on well with each other, so there would be no problems with cooperation. Next, we had the group of Anonymous, Jane, Sonic.exe and Tails Doll. This one was a more offensive team without forgetting the “annoying factor”, as BEN called it. Jane and TD would pester whoever approached to them and Sonic.exe and Anonymous would attack directly; however, Jane could move from a side to another and become an attacker too. They were going to put her with BEN, Jeff and me, but the problems began and the plans needed to be changed… After that, the third group was formed by Masky, Hoody, Slender Man and Zalgo. Masky and Hoody were proxies, but they couldn’t do much from teleporting and manipulating technology, so Slender Man decided to keep them close and Zalgo would complete the circle with his corruption abilities. That group was a strong one and pretty threatening in my opinion; I wouldn’t like to be in the Shadow Beings’ shoes if I met them. Then, the last group, which was the most “unusual” one: it was formed mostly by people who joined us after the last mission was confirmed. A good bunch of neutral ones united our side, normally in order to help someone they cared about. The ones who were in that team were a killer called Bleeding Cross, two friends of mine, The Author and FEAR, and me. Two summoners, two killers.

I didn’t know Bleeding Cross until he arrived to help another member called Artist, who I never saw before the last meeting. BC, as Author called him, was a young man dressed in green, whose outfit was a hoody with a cross on each side of his head and one in the chest and a white line all along the edges, a black and grey stripped T-shirt, a white shirt below it, dark pants and grey shoes. His skin was dark slate-colored and his eyes were completely black, sclera included. That was quite strange to me, but the weirdest thing was noticing he had a flat nose and a white cross made of bandages covering his mouth. I never asked why as that may have bothered him, like when they asked me what my real name was. He was pretty stubborn as I quickly learnt, but he was a nice ally when one got along with him. He used a pointed blade as a weapon, despite having a low attack range; however, I understood he didn’t need more after founding out how agile and strong he was.

I, nevertheless, knew more about FEAR. I met her way before the training sessions began, during one of the missions from when I was still under my Shadow Self's influence. She had joined us to help her friends, but she wasn’t very fond of killing people without a reason. We didn’t began very well, as I made her go mad and we had to fight with our strongest skills, but we eventually solved that incident and things turned out better. I had to say that she acted rudely at first, being very ironical and somewhat proudly, although time showed me to not judge a book by its cover. Hell, she was even kinder than I was. One would never tell she had a soft side even after staying with her for a few days, or a week. She was always worried about scaring people and making them run away, which was normally caused by her appearance, so much that she ended up thinking she was a monster. I wasn’t left indifferent either: her hair was short, black and a little messy, not as much as mine; her right eye was completely black and the left one looked the same, but it had a visible bluish white iris; her face seemed to be made of white porcelain and she had a strange black symbol on her forehead, similar to a sickle with a dot in the inner side and a curved handle that descended on her left eye. About her clothes, these were basically a suit with purple and black stripes both in the arms and the legs, no shoes and no accessories. She was one of the members who I got on well with the best. FEAR kind of reminded me of myself with my death’s curse…

Slowly, things were transforming. The ambiance changed as the date of the meeting got closer: they started making jokes and saying what they’d do after we defeated them; then, they were less and less amused and more and more silent… They were realizing that they might not come back. I couldn’t tell about myself, yet I was sure that I was suffering the same change. Every day that passed was a step closer to a possible final day for us, or just for a few ones. I couldn’t stop thinking about my future I normally tried to push those thoughts out of my mind and think positively. Of course I would. I had survived lots of tough situations… Why would I fall? But… why would I not? The idea of losing what I had been fighting for scared me to unbearable levels. Was asking for being happy so much?

Zalgo knew that we needed to be on a good mood to face the upcoming battle, so he gave us four days in which we were free to not go to training. We all thanked that little gift and spent time on different activities: playing, going on a killing spree, being with the couple, simply resting… The list went on. I took three at first: New Year’s Eve, my boyfriend’s birthday and my own. I preferred leaving the last one for later.

-----------------------

The date eventually arrived: we reunited for the last meeting. I was astonished by the amount of people that arrived to the mansion; we’d be more than sixty. There were so many that Zalgo needed to teleport us to the biggest room in his castle. When we were there, we all reacted exactly the same way: our jaws dropped. The walls and the floor were made of reddish glass, the ceiling was so high that we only saw blackness, light was nonexistent in the corridors and scary screams were heard from time to time, some of them unnervingly close. There was nothing beyond the walls besides more glass corridors and rooms… and void. It was as if the glass castle was placed in the middle of an empty dimension. For a weird reason, I felt insignificant, smashed by the feeling of being surrounded by nothingness and agonizing yells. I shivered and tried to focus on the plan.

“Let’s begin.”, Zalgo announced.

We were making a circumference and the Hivemind was standing in the center. Starting by me and moving on my right, were: Anonymous, Jane, BEN, a young white female with piercing blue eyes, whose name I found out to be Crosshatch, Lost Silver, FEAR, a woman with wild brown hair and a white mask, a hooded man dressed in black and red with a gas mask, who held a pipe as a weapon, Sadie, Kagekao, the Collective, Hope, Author, Bleeding Cross, Masky, Hoody, Slender Man, Kyoto and others I couldn’t see due to the dark of the place.

Suddenly, Zalgo raised a hand and red thin light dots came from his fingers. Those flew leaving a trail behind, which slowly drew a map in mid-air. It was a 3D-scaled laser replica of the zone we’d invade, a quite detailed one. As we could see, there were woods all around the city, a belt of buildings that created a force shield, some smaller constructions and finally the settlement where the last three insurgents’ leaders hid. I was so close from fulfilling my lifelong wishes… My hands were shaking a little, both of fear and excitement.

Zalgo cleared his throat to attract our attention. “This is the area we will attack at the end of this month. As you can see, it’s a large settlement. All the humans have been exterminated and their belongings now are among the Shadow Beings’ possessions. The building where they’re hiding is here.”, he approached to the center of the map and pointed at it, after which he lined a circular shape near it. “Don’t step in this zone unless you want to be instantly annihilated. This one, however,”, he moved a bit on his left, “isn’t so strongly defended. The force shield is nearly impossible to break by hitting. We’d need to deactivate it. There are three entrances, all of them blocked by powerful creatures, according to the Collective’s indications.”, he turned to look at the half behind him and then to the one in front of him. “The brainstorming can start.”

Angelica fell on the floor and stayed there without moving for some seconds. Then, she rolled under the map while making weird creepy noises. Her eyes were widely opened and red due to the mixture of drugs she had taken. She lied on her belly silently, then looked up at Zalgo and lifted a thumb with a silly grin. “The fuck?”, said Jeff raising an eyebrow.

“Oh, that could be a nice idea!”, Neo exclaimed. Everyone looked at her inquiring for an explanation. “I think she’s trying to say that we can dig a tunnel under the city and come up.”

“We’d evade the first line.”, TD said. “However, we don’t know the exact shape the shield has got. It’d work if it were half a sphere, but if it’s a complete one we’ll have the same problem. Also, they can discover us if we hit the shield.”

“Besides, it would take too long.”, Jack said by gestures.

Angelica said something unintelligible and went to her place by rolling. A chubby and scruffy servant of Zalgo was guffawing meanwhile. “Stupid idea from a stupid girl…”

“Has anyone got another idea?”, Zalgo asked.

“What if we surround the whole thing? You know, enclosing the enemy like rats!”, Jeff suggested with his hands in his hoody’s pocket.

“We’d need to switch the force shield off first.”, FEAR told him. “But, how?”

“And one more thing…”, the servant said, “we aren’t enough people to surround the city. One must be very dumb to not notice that little detail.”, he raised his head a little after he finished the sentence.

“At least they’re giving ideas.”, BC replied staring at the servant narrowing his eyes.

“We could try to perform an aerial attack. Zalgo and I can summon winged creatures.”, Author suggested after staring at the irritant guy.

“No way.”, the servant said. “They’re ready for that kind of stuff. They’re clever, you know? An aerial attack… We’re a lot! And the beasts are veeery big! They aren’t very easy to hide, just like you!”

“The hell is wrong with you?!”, I sounded pissed, more than what I’d have liked to be.

The servant ignored me. “Am I the only one who sees these are all really bad ideas?”

“Well, bring one, Einstein.”, BEN told him.

“We can teleport everyone inside the barrier and attack from there!”

“No. The barrier blocks that kind of abilities too. It was clearly stated in the informs.”, The Observer corrected him. It was the only time I didn’t think of the shadowy guy as a jerk. “Your strategy is impossible.”

“See? It isn’t so easy!”, a woman with a white hoody and a mask, Kate was her name, said quite angrily.

“I-I was just testing you, bunch of brainless people!”, he said with an arrogant tonee.

Zalgo stared at the creature, which started to shake. Even his boss was tired of him… Who would stand that creature? “I need some new ornaments for my bedroom…”, was his clear warning. Once the creature swore it wouldn’t speak ever again until the meeting was over, Zalgo sighed, cross-armed. “So, any other ideas?”

“Hey, BEN, Crosshatch, you can go through the internet and various systems, right?”, Neo asked them, who nodded. “Can you try to hack the system of the force shield?”

“Yes! That’ll be easy!”, BEN said grinning.

“We can even block their devices from communicating with external help.”, the white female completed.

“That’s awesome!”, I said. “Sounds to be what we need!”

“And then you can block the support that comes from the outside once we’re in!”, Bleeding Cross added.

“I like the idea, but what would we do once we get into the shield?”, Sadie, placed a few meters from me, asked the group. “Distract the guards while the others look for the insurgents?”

“I can do that.”, Lost Silver said. “Anyway, I think I can’t do much more than being a distraction…”

“I’d do that too.”, Sadie replied, “We’d accompany a group to check the area first and clean it.”

A male creepy voice came from the dark side of the room. “I think that four groups to hunt the Shadow Beings are enough. The rest can keep an eye on the shield and defend the zone.”

“Only four? Isn’t it too little?”, I tilted my head. Just before I continued, a long scream was heard. “I think we’d need no less than six.”

“Ok, I can send two teams of proxies.”, Slender Man said. “I think four is a little number too.”

“Well, then there will go six groups.”, Zalgo said, but he didn’t look very pleased.

“Which ones?”, Bleeding Cross asked.

“Groups 2,3,4, 6, 8 and 9.”

A young woman took a step forwards. I looked at her carefully: she was one of Zalgo’s spawns, seeing her aura and the red and black horns. Her hair was short, light brown and she had bangs. Her outfit consisted on a long-sleeved rolled up white shirt with chocolate-colored stripes that reached her waist and made a triangle-like shape, so her grey shorts and her quite pale skin were visible, and she was barefoot. I couldn’t see her face due to the bronze-colored gas mask with red glasses she was wearing, but my attention was dragged to her arms at the moment she raised a hand to ask for permission to talk. It was clawed and black… and there was a little mouth on her arm; same story with her legs and feet. Well… it wasn’t the strangest being I had seen since I was there.

“I’ve got a question, Master.”

“What’s it?”

“Which areas will each team attack?”

“Stripes, your group will stay on the first floor, while Kagekao’s group will keep an eye on the upper one. The others will continue together until we reach the top, where we’ll reunite.”

The man with the hood and the pipe asked for permission to talk, yet his gesture looked to be more “forced”, as if he was doing it unwillingly. “Can we kill anything we see?”, Zalgo nodded. “Are there many monsters?”, Zalgo nodded again. “Ok, that’s all I need.”

“As he said before, the Shadow Beings have conquered the city. The most human-like thing we’ll find are those which prefer using human appearances.”, I told the guy. I had met him once while training, but I couldn’t remember his name. “Be careful with them. Those sons of bitches are hard to beat, especially if they’re of the ‘warrior’ type… and beware of the ‘virus’ type as well. Those like to spread poisonous substances and can mess with your mind with hallucinations, but they aren’t so good at close battles than the previous ones.”

“Is there any information about the opponents who are in the building besides those creatures, if there were any?”, Stripes asked.

“It’s known that there are other creatures, but we haven’t found out which kind.”, a female proxy from the Collective replied calmly.

“Oh, that’s so helpful…”, Hoody said with a marked ironic tone.

“I suggest that one group searches for the control room to guide the rest.”, Masky told the boss. “Hoody and I can do that.”

“Yeah, I like the idea!”, Hoody turned at Masky. “If someone stayed with us it would be perfect!”

“I will.”, the woman with the white mask and wild hair said. When I looked at her, I noticed she had a red eye and a white one and those had the shape of the symbol Masky and Hoody drew… A Slender Man’s proxy, yes, but… there was something… odd.

“That room’s in the second floor. There are seven excluding the basements; nine with those. However, the basements aren’t interesting places for us; there are just tools and old trash. The insurgents are frequently at the highest floors, normally surrounded by guards, monsters as well.”, the female proxy from the Collective informed. “We know a little about the targets: the female has got a great hearing and the youngest one is very agile, but we know nothing about the leader.”

“He’s insanely powerful. Not as much as Lord Zalgo, but still represents a big threat. That’s why I thought that sixteen people were too little.”, I said quite worried. “I’ve just seen once, when I was ten… but I remember he can transform into a black wolf.”, I pulled from my memories of that awful day and from the documents my father wrote to get more information. “I know that Shadow Beings can open portals to their world, the Reflection Plane: a realm made by the shadows of everything which exists in the human’s world, alive or unanimated; pretty cold and lonely place indeed. I can go to that realm too… but I can’t bring anyone there, unless they want to get their soul ripped. They only one who would survive would be the Hivemind.”

“It’s good to know that.”, Slender Man said, even though I was aware he knew part of it. “Have you got something else to share?”

“Shadow Beings can be tricky. Oh, and be careful with those who can fight from afar.”

“Which way will we use to communicate?”, the creepy male voice, Shadowlurker’s probably,  spoke again.

Slender Man talked next. “I think we all have mobile phones, right?”, everyone nodded and some even showed their devices.

“Is there something else you’d like to add?”, Zalgo asked.

“I’d like to have a closer look to the map.”, FEAR requested. There were a few others who wanted to do the same, time during which the rest talked or had a look at the corridors or the ornaments.

After that, we simply resumed what we’d do: BEN and Crosshatch would get into the force shield’s system and deactivate it until we were in, moment when the shield would be used against the enemy’s external help. My team had to keep moving upper until where the leaders were hiding, as well as Jeff’s and Anonymous’, while Slender Man’s would stay behind. Masky and Hoody would look for the security room and the woman with the white mask, whose name I discovered that was Nemesis, the hooded man, Hunter, Stripes, a man called Nemor, who I didn’t see in the meeting, Slender Man and Zalgo would protect them. Kagekao’s team would keep the enemies away and BEN would go with Jeff and the others whenever Crosshatch had the system under control. Once the building was clean, we’d reunite and fight with all we had. Zalgo’s orders were clear: no mercy, no remorse, simply seek and destroy.

It was time to let the sadist out for a last time.

-----------------------

The days kept passing incredibly fast, much more than desired. My fears increased as the final day was closer and closer, although, fortunately, we had arranged a day to meet all together for a last time before the assault to forget about the situation for a while. It was a kind of custom: each two weeks, the day Slender Man was out, we met at the woods near the mansion, lit a campfire and held a little contest of stories about our killings or successful tasks while eating some snacks. Everyone could take part in it and sometimes the entries were very interesting. The contestants, especially Sonic.exe, often made up the stories, but we always found out when they were lying and they were kicked out automatically. It was a way to relax after hard work and stress… and very effective I had to say. I usually waited until nearly the end to tell my story, not because mine were the best, but because I preferred listening than telling. Kagekao, Hope, Kyoto and Jeff had brought an interesting experience and I was sure that one of them would be the winner. As it was the last meeting, Slender Man was invited to join us and even shared one of his stories, but he didn't want to get into the contest; it was just for fun. I had been lucky that time and I had Neo and FEAR sitting on my sides; last time, I had to be between Jeff and TD. While the twentieth contestant was reaching the end of his entry, Kyoto put some more firewood in the campfire that burnt in the middle of the big circle.

“… After that, I landed on the ground and walked away. I didn’t notice I was still showing my true face until a man gasped in horror staring at me. His aspect was very funny: eyes widely opened, paling face, a slight shaking of his head and fingers…", he cackled. "He took a step backwards, unable to speak. He seemed more scared when I grinned and he saw my teeth, but what came next made him flee screaming in terror…”, the demon grinned as the memory played in front of his eyes as if happened the day before, “I told him: ‘If I were you, I’d cover myself. Gonna rain…’, and after that, I ended the show by saying: ‘Life is a book and I’m the one who can rewrite it. I’m… The Author!’, and as soon as I raised my arms, the summoned demon made the cops explode and blood and flesh rain fell from the roof. I guffawed as the human ran away not looking back. Then, I moved before more cops arrived and left the place.”

“Good job, man!”, Kagekao said with a grin on the white side of his mask. “However, it won’t surpass my story.”, he said pointing at himself with the thumb.

“Who are left?”, Sally asked hugging her teddy bear.

“Aerial and Nemor.”, Slender Man replied.

“Who goes first?”, that one was Lazari, who was eating a cookie.

“Ok, I will.”, I cleared my throat and took a breath before I started. “It was a cloudy day, November I think. I was fifteen by that time… I had arrived at a small village, about a thousand people, located in the woods; pretty and lonely, just as I liked them. I was looking for my next prey, for new blood poisoned by faith to purify. The silence of the night yelled, begged to be broken with the slash of my scythe, which I’d do with pleasure. Who’d be the first one to taste the bitter truth beyond the eyes?

I walked along the streets humming a song that came to my mind… until I found the main square, where the church was built. I grinned and had a look inside. Of course, it was empty… yet not for long. Shortly after I closed the door, I perceived someone approaching. I hid under the altar and waited there. The human was a priest that was going to prepare the mass for a special day they celebrated in that settlement. I had a doubt that faded fast: should I kill him, or… should I not and for more people? That idea seemed way better; I’d kill two birds with one stone, since I needed some money too.”, I smiled while counting the people that went to that mass. “There were humans of all ages, especially old people. The priest started opening the mass with a singing… I kept hiding until the perfect moment.”, I rubbed my hands slowly with a sick grin. “When they were praying, I talked with an ominous voice: ‘Raise, foolish believers. I’ve got a secret to tell…’, and then, my shadow came from under the altar like a bunch or arms and clawed hands that reached two meters high. Later, I stood up and ended the phrase: ‘God doesn’t give a fuck about you.’ That was the moment when I stood on one of the arms and raised until I was at the same height as the crucified Crist they had, stretched my arms out and yelled: ‘I’ll show you by first hand!’, and the shadow moved towards all the humans who tried to escape.”, I closed my hands a bit, simulating claws. “They hid under the pews, they tried to open the door, to break a window and jump through it…”, I took a little breath, “No one made it, or not alive at least. I saw a man praying for salvation, the priest more exactly. I moved towards him and looked at him very closely. He could only cross himself once and take steps backwards with his icy blue eyes widely opened, fixed on mine. That was the kind of look I was searching… That was the smell I was wishing for. However, those words weren’t the ones I wanted to listen to. He kept calling for Him… ‘Don’t dare to pray. I’m the Devil’s Inquisitor and I won’t allow those infamous words to be pronounced in my presence!’, I said before punching him on the stomach with my fist wrapped in shadows. I turned, saw the Crist I had behind and laughed…

A while after, a man came in, alarmed by the noise and the screams. He hesitated about opening the door, but he eventually did. He saw Hell itself right in front of his eyes: corpses and blood everywhere, guts scattered, blaspheming phrases painted in scarlet on the walls and floor, a crucified man that replaced the fake Jesus… He took a step forwards, moment in which the organ played the song ‘Twinkle, twinkle, little star’ and a voice sang…”, I took a breath and sang lowly. “‘Twinkle, twinkle, little star, shine above the deepest dark. Never give up, never go… Please, don’t leave me here, alone. Twinkle, twinkle, little star… I’m behind you, watch your back…”, I ended the story with a sweet tone and a deranged expression.

“Not bad, I like it.”, Kyoto said with a little smile.

“Thank you.”, I scratched the back of my head. “It’s quite old.”

“Nemor, you’re next.”, Stripes said, who was sitting next to him.

I looked at the mentioned man. His dark brown hair, almost black, was short, he had bangs, sideburns and a bit of beard. His eyes were brown… well, one of them. The right one was greyish, but it looked like that due to a scar that went up his face, then crossed downwards and finally made another move upwards, so it made an everlasting ‘N’ on his skin. It had been burst long ago… I knew how much those wounds hurt; I had had a lot on my body for a couple of days after tough fights, but thanks to my shadow powers, I always recovered and the scars were gone soon. Even so, I was lucky that none of them hurt me like that; it was a damage I couldn’t repair. “But look at his outfit…”, I thought when I paid more attention at him. He was wearing vivid colored clothes, which contrasted with the dark cape and the pieces of the armor he had taken off to rest. An actual medieval armor! He had his helmet, which had an Operator symbol on the left hole of the eyes, placed on the grass, on his right, as well as his white shield, which showed that symbol too, and his sword. He looked to be someone directly taken from the fairy tales my mother used to tell when I was little before going to sleep, like one of those knights that saved the princess from the claws of the evil dragon. I noticed his English was a bit… old. Also, his accent clearly pointed he was French. I realized he sometimes put French words in his phrases and so the people around him sometimes had to ask him what he had said. He seemed serious, calm, and had a nice ability to catch and keep people’s attention, especially with the way he expressed himself. His face showed little emotion, but his left eye’s look showed coldness that, looking deeply, hid pain, probably a mental scar; one of the ones that would never heal. What had happened to him?

“I’d have liked to be there to see it live!”, Neo said after clapping.

“Same here.”, Stripes said. Even not being able to see it, I’d have bet she was smiling.

“Merci.”

“Ok, let’s vote!”, BEN said: “This time, the jackpot is bigger~!”

We raised our fingers as BEN named each contestant while Lazari wrote the number of votes down on a piece of paper. In the end, Kagekao won all the money by a little difference with Jeff. It was clear he’d win: his “game” with the cops, the traps, the doors and his partners was pretty awesome. The masked demon took the money and ate a marshmallow with a smile on the black half. I had won the contest once with the experience from a mission, when I killed a few guys and left their friend, Adam was his name, as the culprit. That time, I had received a few votes, but less than the previous one. I should have told the story of the day I escaped from the base with Jeff and Smile Dog, but I remembered it as Nemor told his. At least it was fun!

-----------------------

After the contest was over, everyone went back to the mansion except for me. I had asked Zalgo for permission to spend the next day out of the realm, so I was able to skip the training sessions and be at the human’s world for the whole day with my boy. I needed to stay calm: the next day would be the big day and I was scared as hell. Being with him indeed helped me, but time decided to sprint and the end of the day arrived soon. We went to a little house I had in the human realm and he decided to sleep with me. So there I was, hugging him in what could be my last night, too frightened to sleep. Many thoughts passed across my mind: how long would the assault take? How many of us would come back, if there were any? What if I didn’t come back?

I hugged Mexhor tighter… I wouldn’t have minded dying two years ago, but at that moment, in that night, it was horrifying. Thinking that I was alive that second and I could be dead by that time the next day, knowing that your loved ones were waiting… Was that what human soldiers thought each night? Or precisely what they tried to avoid at all cost? How could they deal with that feeling every day?

No, I won’t die!”, I closed my eyes tightly and put my face on his chest. “When I’m back, I’ll stop hunting monsters and I’ll live as a normal person! We’ll buy a bigger house, out of the United States. I want to see new places and I’m sure he does too! And… And in the future… Ugh, so many plans, so many things…”, I blushed a little. He had told me he’d bring me to another realm and start a new life. I couldn’t keep a smile when I remembered that day… That sounded so nice, so sweet…

However, I’d have to survive that battle for that. And I would!

Damn, more than a week to write this thing... *pulls from her ear* Anyway... We're reaching the end of the fanfic! The next chapter will be the last one and, since it'll be an interactive one, it'll take long ._.

I wanted to show the storytelling moment at some point of the fanfic and I thought this one would be a nice moment, like a "farewell", sort of. You know, they've been working together for so long... it's normal that they've got moments like these besides killign sprees and stuff like that. I'd like to draw a scene from the campfire thing, but I'm afraid that won't happen ._.

About the next chapter, if it turns out well, the short game will be using a TBS and will have extra characters which won't be playable but will still help the player. Oh, and more things I will hide by the time being!

And now... credit tiiiime!

I think I don't forget anyone o_o Please, tell me if I do so that I can add you on the description.

EDIT: I update because I'll be posting the final chapter of Eight Stained Clues soon and, since it's been literally months since I updated that story, I'm "reshowing" the previous chapters and stories related to it to refresh memory.

Can you make a normal version of the last chapter too? I can't figure out how to work the inter-actives. I'm also tempted to make fanart lol.

PS: I can't draw worth s**t. Beware lol. I'll most likely use a creator or maker thing.
